TEACH
Become a TeachMyTech Instructor

Most edtech platforms want instructors.
We want the person who did the work.

If you spent years at a company where it mattered — where the system you built handled real load, where the bug you found prevented a real incident — that's the credential we care about. The domain depth is what we can't train.

“The edtech industry has a generalist problem. Thousands of instructors teach courses they have never practiced professionally. TeachMyTech was built on the opposite principle.
Every trainer at TeachMyTech is a domain specialist who has held the exact job they are teaching. A System Design trainer who designed production systems at Amazon. A Security trainer who patched real vulnerabilities at Razorpay. This is non-negotiable for us — and it is what makes a TeachMyTech credential mean something to hiring managers.
Why Teach With Us

Six reasons practitioners
choose TeachMyTech.

We are not asking you to record a course and walk away. We are offering a real teaching platform, a committed student cohort, and the infrastructure to make expert instruction financially worthwhile.

01
💡

One Domain, Fully Yours

Every course has exactly one specialist trainer. Your domain is yours — we do not split it. You are the expert, and students know it from the first session.

02

06
🏆

Build Your Expert Brand

TeachMyTech co-brands its credentials. Over time, you become the recognised name in your specialist domain, opening further advisory opportunities.

The Non-Negotiables

Who we are looking for —
and who we are not.

We have a deliberate and unapologetic hiring standard. Domain mastery with verifiable industry credentials is the baseline. Everything else is secondary.

If your professional background matches what you want to teach — you should apply. Strong teaching experience but limited practitioner credentials — TeachMyTech is probably not the right fit right now.

✓ What We Look For
5+ years verifiable industry experience in the exact domain
Employment at a recognisable company in a senior practitioner role
Ability to explain your work and handle live questions without notes
Comfortable with Socratic questioning and oral assessment
Reliable for 3 live sessions per week during active cohorts
Prior teaching is a plus — never a substitute for domain depth
✗ Probably Not the Right Fit
Primary background is teaching rather than practicing the domain
Generalists who teach across multiple unrelated domains
Cannot verify professional experience — domain credibility is the non-negotiable baseline
Anyone who wants to pre-record and step away — our format is live by design
Fewer than 3 years hands-on industry experience in the domain
